Hagstone: Protection, Good Luck, Healing
According to folklore, Hagstones are able to ward off evil spirits or negative energies. In some folklore the stones were used to protect from Witches or hags, hence the name "Hagstone". Others believed that the hole of a hag stone acted as a lense capable of seeing into spiritual or fairy realms as well as offering protection. Hanging a Hagstone above the doorway was the most common practice. Hagstones are also thought to have healing properties when worn as a talisman.
