Triquetra: In Celtic lore this tri-fold knot honors the power of three: body, mind & spirit; life, death & rebirth; past, present & future; Sun, Moon & Earth; and the creative process: Thought, Word, & Deed. It also symbolizes the three aspects of the sacred feminine: Maiden, Mother & Crone, known as the Triple Goddess. In more modern times, the Triquetra is also used to represent the Holy Trinity.
